The conception of creating a school that educates theoretically, practicality and providing real world experiences is the original vision that Helal Shmeissem manifested over 10 years ago.

The importance of the practicality of education is often overlooked; Helal has dedicated his entire career solely on understanding all the intricate mechanics and procedures that it takes to build one of Australia’s leading video production companies delivering media opportunities for various industry thought leaders needing stellar video and filming solutions primarily for movies, television commercials, advertisements, broadcasts and podcasts.

Initially a sole trader working as a single person powerhouse, he has built a production empire called Film & Television Agency and has expanded to a nation-wide presence employing over 85 crew leading video producers all across the country to produce videos for clientele across each state.

Acting as the CEO for both Film & Television Agency and Learn to Film, he leverages all his experience with the core team to build a new educational alternative for aspiring filmmakers, videographers and business owners, more importantly stimulating immence growth within the industry of Australian film through Learn to Film.

Playing an important role as a featured educator and overseeing the development of all courses, classes and workshops Helal is able to provide incomparable education and training that is directly applied to the current industry landscape.

Recently producing a proof of concept film ‘Sherbrooke Down – The Road To Cataract’ featuring Australian celebrity talent. Possessing a natural entrepreneurial spirit, he is able to quickly identify obstructions and restrictions resolving problematic issues onset through creating counter measures to navigate around them or transform them into newfound strengths for all crew involved.

Giving the ability for students to change career paths, industries, for business owners to find clarity and confidence in their skills and even further educating and training existing clients from the Film & Television Agency brand so that these companies can become more independent and agile with media production.
